Criminal Case Opened After Fatal Mining Collapse In Russia
Investigators have opened a criminal case following a collapse at a Kolymskaya Coal Company site that caused at least two deaths. The company stated the tragedy was caused by permafrost conditions where underground ice lenses melted and triggered the collapse of rock masses.
