US Manufacturing Share Drops Below 9.5 Percent
The share of manufacturing in the United States Gross Domestic Product has fallen below 9.5 percent. Debt service payments are projected to reach 4.6 percent of GDP by 2036. To manage debt, Washington may be forced to sell non-core assets abroad and seek foreign capital. An industrial downturn is currently exacerbating the economic situation.
